I have purchased a lenovo notebook G460 which is provided with 'OneKey Rescue system ' as one of the features. After using this key and when the windows 7 is installed completely, the the WiFi is not working. What i mean is that my notebook is not able to fine any network connection. I also went to wirelss device setting by using the short-cut of 'Fn+F5 and made sure the current status of wireless is ON.but still my network sharing center shows 'No connection available'. There are more than one laptop in my house. They are able to find connections. There is absolutely no problem with my internet connection.

Some people told me that you should keep the wireless connection key ON while using the 'OneKey Rescue System'. I have done that as well but still it did not work. I think the wireless LAN driver is not installed and lenovo does not provide any driver for customers while selling the notebooks that are provided with 'OneKey Rescue System' I really appreciate it if you guide me on the problem. I am wondering why the FN+F5 was working on the previous Windows version (it displayed a screen where I could turn on/off wi-fi), and now it does not show up. It was a gray background window, similar to ReadyComm interface. I right-clicked on the ReadyComm software and I spotted that there was an option labeled 'wi-fi switch' (I have a Spanish Windows - the translation might not be exactly that) and I presumed that clicking on it would make that window show up, but again it does nothing. All other FN+Fx features work correctly. The toggle display feature when you press FN+F5 keys has disappeared when you upgraded to a higher version of win7 but still the FN+F5 keys functions, correct? Just reinstall the same driver that comes with the previous version of win7.This may also solve your machine's wireless issues. The next time you do a clean install of your OS back up your driver first.
